This Privacy Policy applies to Kar-Life Battery Inc. (“Kar-Life Battery,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an Arizona-based battery retailer operating two stores in Phoenix and Mesa, and the website at karlifebattery.com.

Information We Collect

We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it or when it is generated automatically by your visit to our site:

• Contact & quote requests: name, phone number, email address, vehicle information, and ZIP code you submit through our contact, quote, or delivery-area forms.
• SMS opt-in: phone number and the message of consent if you ask us to text you order updates, quote replies, or appointment reminders. See our Return Policy and FAQ for more on how we use SMS.
• Order & payment information: when you buy a battery online or pay by text, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your card or wallet details directly. Kar-Life Battery never sees or stores your full card number.
• Delivery information: if you order same-day delivery, your name, phone number, and address are shared with DoorDash so the driver can reach your location.
• In-store purchases: name and phone number on your receipt so we can honor your warranty.
• Automatic usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URL, collected by standard web analytics tools.

Cookies, Analytics & Tracking

Our website uses a small number of third-party services that may set cookies or collect anonymized usage data:

• Google Analytics & Google Ads — aggregate site traffic, conversion measurement, and remarketing. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Microsoft Clarity — anonymized session recordings and heatmaps that help us spot broken pages and confusing layouts. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
• Bugsnag — error monitoring so we can detect and fix site bugs. Bugsnag receives technical error data only.

Who We Share Information With

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only to the extent each provider needs it to do its job:

• Stripe — payment processing for online and pay-by-text orders.
• DoorDash — same-day local delivery in the Phoenix metro.
• Twilio — sending and receiving SMS messages.
• Google — analytics, advertising, and Google Customer Reviews.
• Microsoft — site analytics (Clarity).
• Bugsnag — error monitoring.
• Cloudflare — website hosting, DNS, and security.

We may also disclose information when required by law, in response to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Kar-Life Battery, our customers, or others.

SMS Messaging & Consent

When you opt in to receive text messages from Kar-Life Battery (for example by checking an SMS-consent box on a quote or delivery form, or by replying to one of our messages), you authorize us to send transactional and customer-service text messages to the number you provide. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. Your mobile carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share SMS opt-in information with third parties for their marketing.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, honor warranty obligations, comply with legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. Receipt and warranty records are kept for at least the length of the longest applicable warranty period. You may request deletion at any time as described below.
